Eastern Sierra & Northern California

It is my mission to provide you with a rewarding fly fishing experience tailored to your goals. Whether you're a beginner wanting to learn to fly fish, or an advanced fly fisherman wanting to learn a new technique or explore a new fishery, I will make it happen. From feeding small wild fish dries on 2 and 3 weights, to stripping articulated streamers on sink tips for big browns, and everything in between, I've got you covered.

Fly fishing our local lakes can be a productive method for both numbers and quality fish. While the standard technique for lake fly fishing from the boat is stillwater nymphing, we also dry fly fish and streamer fish from the boat when the conditions are right. Your fishing platform is a 17' center console Lowe and can accomodate two anglers plus guide.

The epitome of fly fishing- get your feet wet in the summer as we wet wade creeks, streams and rivers and get in waders when the weather cools. Either way, walk and wade trips typically involve a more intimate experience with each fishery. Whether we are stripping streamers, nymphing pocket water or casting dry flies to rising fish on a spring creek, we're covering water on foot.

Interested in covering moving water from a boat? We do that too. We typically nymph from the drift boat for big rainbows and steelhead, but will also fish dries and swing flies during certain times of the year. Your fishing platform is a 16' Clackacraft and can accomodate two anglers plus guide. Drift boat option exclusively for Northern California.
